It’s 23:39 on the night before we set off and I think things are finally ready. Had to change a couple of details including the first night’s destination but that’s the nature of a plan such as ours – it has to be fluid.
We’re picking up more support by the day from the teams we’re hoping to visit – it’s as if word has reached them that this is a serious endeavour.
And the donations are starting to roll in despite the fact we’ve not started the challenge yet – there are so many generous folk out there and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Hopefully, the next time I write on this blog, we’ll be on our way and getting settled in to spending some long hours in the saddle.
